Thursday Evening Race Walk

Apparently it was race walk night because I’ve been home for twenty minutes and I’m still sweating.  Part of it is the dogs wanted to go quickly and the other part of it, is that the weather is too chilly to go without a wrap.

Of course, that very same wrap becomes unbearably warm by the time we return home.  No worries though, this in-between weather never lasts long and soon enough it will be short sleeves and shorts every night.  Hubby missed tonight too, he was missed.  Here’s to hoping he joins us this weekend.

Wednesday Evening: Return to Routine

Tonight we return to the routine of walking after dinner.  The last week and a half or so has been jammed back with family, day trips, and an attack of a 24 bug.  But tonight, we had an excellent dinner and promptly went for a walk afterwards.  Hubby had an attack of the lazies and failed to join us but hey, there is always tomorrow night.

Sangria is getting the hang of walking on a lead finally.  She is also for the first time beginning to sniff out her environment like Wally does.  She is showing signs that she wants a retractable lead so the search begins for an excellent one like Wally’s in pink.  Wally’s lead is ten plus years old and it is still a work horse.
